By knitting with our Baby Alpaca fibers you will obtain garments that are 3 times warmer, extremely soft, with exceptional shine and drape, much lighter and more breathable than those knitted with merino wool.
The Baby Alpaca fiber of our brands comes from the alpacas that live in the Andean highlands at more than 4000 meters high, which gives it unique characteristics.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FIBER, BABY ALPACA:
- It is three times warmer than merino wool.
- The alpaca fibre is soft that almost all of the sheep's wool, it is naturally soft compared to the merino wool to make it just as soft, must go through a process of softening. It is soft as cashmere but stronger and less expensive which makes it more durable.

- Lighter garments than merino wool because, compared to sheep fiber, alpaca fiber is hollow.
