Yupi celebrates sock knitters around the world and our new blend is a delicate balance of luxurious baby alpaca and super wool, making it soft and easy to care for. The basis of this beautiful wool is to emphasize slowing down and lessening our impact on the environment through our steps, highlighted by its cheerful and exuberant color.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FIBER, BABY ALPACA:

It is three times warmer than merino wool.

The alpaca fibre is soft that almost all of the sheep's wool, it is naturally soft compared to the merino wool to make it just as soft, must go through a process of softening. It is soft as cashmere but stronger and less expensive which makes it more durable.

Garments with exceptional shine and drape, due to the structure and resistance of the fiber composition. Properties difficult to replicate with any other fiber.

Clothes are lighter than merino wool because of that, a comparison of the fiber of sheep, the structure of the alpaca fibre is hollow.

It does not easily felt or lint, is extremely strong and does not warp.

It's warm, non-stinging, and lanolin-free, making it hypoallergenic, perfect for people with sensitive skin.
